01. Introduction

Welcome to DZbotics Engineering. These Terms and Conditions ("Terms") constitute a legally binding agreement between you ("you", "the customer") and DZbotics Engineering ("DZbotics", "we", "us") governing your order of Nameless, our desk companion robot.

By placing an order, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agreed to be bound by these Terms. The price is ₹2,499 (17% off the regular ₹2,999 price), inclusive of all applicable taxes. If you do not agree with any part of these Terms, you should not proceed with your order.

An order reserves a Nameless production unit for you and entitles you to delivery once production units are ready, as described in these Terms. It is a consumer purchase of a product and nothing else. See Section 03 for delivery and timeline details.

02. What You Receive

When you place an order, DZbotics commits to providing the following:

03. Delivery & Timelines

DZbotics is now shipping production units of Nameless. Each customer will receive one production unit of Nameless shipped to the address provided at the time of order.

Delivery timelines may vary depending on a number of factors, including but not limited to: manufacturing progress, component sourcing and availability, software development milestones, quality assurance, logistics, and regulatory requirements. DZbotics makes no binding guarantee as to specific delivery dates and reserves the right to revise timelines as circumstances require.

DZbotics will communicate all significant timeline updates directly to customers via email.

Our Commitment

DZbotics will provide regular updates on production progress, development milestones, and shipping. You will never be left without information about where your order stands.

04. Refund Policy

Pricing & Tax

The price is ₹2,499 (17% off the regular ₹2,999 price), inclusive of all applicable taxes (including GST). A payment receipt will be issued to your registered email address once payment is received. No additional charges will be levied.

All Sales Final

While your reservation is in reservations mode, nothing is charged and no commitment is locked in — you may withdraw your reservation at any time before payment is collected, no questions asked, by emailing support@dzbotics.com. Once payment has been confirmed and collected by DZbotics, however, the order is final — non-cancellable and non-refundable. Please review your reservation carefully before payment is arranged, as it cannot be changed or reversed afterwards.

Damaged Unit Replacement

The one exception to the above: if your unit arrives damaged, DZbotics will replace it at no additional cost, subject to inspection and verification. To be eligible, you must (a) contact support@dzbotics.com within 7 days of receiving your unit; (b) include clear photos of both the damaged product and its original packaging; and (c) provide your order number. Once the damage is verified, a replacement unit will ship after the damaged unit has been received back by DZbotics.

Return Shipping

The cost of returning a damaged unit is the customer's responsibility and is non-refundable. We strongly recommend using a trackable or insured shipping service for your return, as DZbotics cannot guarantee receipt of items sent without tracking.

05. Data Privacy

What Personal Data We Collect

Depending on how you interact with the DZbotics website, we may collect the following categories of personal data:

person Order form — Full name, email address, and phone number, collected when you submit the order form.
mail Waitlist / newsletter sign-up — Name and email address, collected via sign-up forms on the homepage, product pages, and FAQ.
chat Contact form — Name, email address, and message content, submitted via the Contact page.
receipt_long Invoicing — Name, email address, phone number, and billing address, used when issuing a payment receipt or invoice to a customer.
analytics Website analytics — Anonymised usage data (pages visited, session duration, device/browser type, approximate geographic location derived from IP address) collected automatically when you browse the site.

How We Use Your Data

check_circle To send product updates, build logs, and order-related communications to subscribers and customers via email (Mailchimp).

check_circle To process and fulfil your order, including arranging shipment of your unit.

Your personal data will never be sold, rented, or shared with third parties for their own commercial or marketing purposes. Sharing with the service providers listed below is limited to what is strictly necessary for operating this service.

Third-Party Data Processors

We use the following third-party services to operate our website and program. Each acts as a data processor on our behalf and is bound by their own privacy policy and applicable data protection law.

Google Analytics (Google LLC)

Purpose: Website analytics — tracking page views, session data, and aggregate user behaviour to help us understand how people use the site.

Data shared: Anonymised IP address, browser/device type, pages visited, session duration. No personally identifiable information is deliberately sent to Google Analytics.

Data location: Google servers (United States and other Google infrastructure locations).

Formspree Inc.

Purpose: Processing waitlist sign-up and newsletter subscription form submissions.

Data shared: Name and email address submitted via sign-up forms.

Data location: United States.

Google LLC (Apps Script & Google Sheets)

Purpose: Storing order form submissions in a private Google Sheet and triggering confirmation emails to customers.

Data shared: Name, email address, and phone number submitted via the order form.

Data location: Google servers (United States and other Google infrastructure locations).

Mailchimp (The Rocket Science Group LLC, an Intuit company)

Purpose: Sending email newsletters, product updates, and marketing communications to subscribers and customers who have opted in.

Data shared: Name and email address of subscribers.

Data location: United States.

Privacy policy: mailchimp.com/legal/privacy

Razorpay Software Private Limited

Purpose: Processing order payments. Note: payment collection is currently suspended while we complete RBI/KYC verification. This section applies when payments are re-enabled.

Data shared: Name, email address, phone number, and payment card/UPI details entered during checkout. Razorpay is PCI-DSS compliant; DZbotics does not store card data.

Data location: India (Razorpay is an Indian entity regulated by the RBI).

Zoho Corporation Private Limited

Purpose: Generating and sending GST-compliant invoices and payment receipts to customers.

Data shared: Name, email address, phone number, and billing address of customers.

Data location: India (Zoho is headquartered in Chennai, India).

Privacy policy: zoho.com/privacy

Cloudflare Inc.

Purpose: Hosting the DZbotics website (Cloudflare Pages), content delivery network (CDN), and DDoS protection. All web traffic to dzbotics.com is routed through Cloudflare's network.

Data shared: IP address and HTTP request metadata for all site visitors (processed transiently for routing and security; Cloudflare does not retain this data beyond its standard logs policy).

Data location: Cloudflare's global network (United States and international edge nodes).

Your Rights

Under applicable Indian data protection law (including the Information Technology Act 2000, the SPDI Rules 2011, and the Digital Personal Data Protection Act 2023), you have the right to:

visibility Access — request a copy of the personal data we hold about you.
edit Correction — request that inaccurate or incomplete data about you be corrected.
delete Erasure — request deletion of your personal data, subject to any legal obligation to retain it (e.g. GST invoice records).
block Withdraw consent — unsubscribe from marketing emails at any time via the unsubscribe link in any email, or by contacting us directly.

06. Governing Law

These Terms and Conditions shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Republic of India. Any disputes, claims, or controversies arising out of or in connection with these Terms or your order shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts located in Chennai, Tamil Nadu, India.

By placing an order, you irrevocably submit to the personal jurisdiction of such courts and waive any objection to the laying of venue in Chennai.

08. Cookies & Analytics

What Are Cookies

Cookies are small text files placed on your device when you visit a website. They allow the website and third-party services to recognise your browser and remember certain information between visits.

The DZbotics website does not use first-party cookies for tracking or advertising. However, the third-party analytics and CDN services listed below may set cookies as part of their normal operation.

Google Analytics Cookies

We use Google Analytics (GA4) to understand how visitors use our website. Google Analytics sets cookies on your browser to distinguish unique visitors, track sessions, and record page-level interactions. The data collected is aggregated and anonymised — we cannot identify individual users from this data.

Google Analytics is loaded lazily — it does not fire until you interact with the page (mouse movement, scroll, keypress). This minimises unnecessary data collection for visitors who do not engage with the site.

Cloudflare

Our website is served via Cloudflare's content delivery network. Cloudflare may set a __cf_bm cookie for bot management and security purposes. This cookie does not track your activity across websites and expires within 30 minutes of your session ending. See Cloudflare's Cookie Policy for details.

How to Opt Out of Analytics

You can prevent Google Analytics from collecting data about your visit by:

extension Installing the Google Analytics Opt-out Browser Add-on available from Google.
settings Enabling "Do Not Track" in your browser settings (most modern browsers support this).
cookie Blocking or deleting cookies through your browser's privacy settings. Clearing cookies named _ga, _ga_*, and _gid will remove the Google Analytics identifiers for this site.

Opting out of analytics cookies does not affect your ability to use any part of the DZbotics website or place an order.
